Jalapeño Burgers

INGREDIENTS:

1lb 80/20 ground beef
1 Tbsp Happy Hal's Jalapeño Relish
3 minced garlic cloves
1 egg yolk
Salt + pepper to taste
Worcestershire sauce
Hamburger buns
Sliced pepper jack cheese
Red onion
Green leaf lettuce
Tomatoes on the vine

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Slice and prep your toppings.
2. Preheat griddle, grill, or cast iron to medium high heat.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, egg yolk, and Happy Hal's Jalapeño Relish- just until combined.
4. Divide ground beef mixture into 3 or 4 even balls. Gently form into patties just larger than your buns. Add a slight indent on top.
5. Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper on top of each patty.
6. Grill patties covered for 3-5 minutes each side. Flip burgers when the juices are apparent on top and the red color has faded evenly.
7. Add cheese in the last minute of cooking.
8. Plate, top with desired condiments and more Happy Hal's Jalapeño Relish.
